Businesses can add an unpaid break to a shift when posting a gig. When a break is added the gig shift time is not increased, and the unpaid break time is deducted from the total cost of the gig. 

Pros cannot reduce the break time when they clock out, but they can increase it. If the pro does not take the break or the entire break, the business can adjust the shift time to compensate for the extra time owed the pro for the break not taken.
