Gigpro uses the cell phone number as the unique ID for each user/profile. Pros (workers) using the Gigpro platform to work Gigs are required to have connected cell service with the phone number associated with their profile. Gigpro requires this for the following:
- Cell Data and Location Permissions to apply to and confirm gigs
- Cell Data and Location Permissions for Clocking in and Out of Gigs
- Orientation calls/texts
- First confirmed Gig calls/texts
- Suspension texts
- Confirmed Gig update call/texts
If Gigpro reaches out to a Pro and their cell service is not connected, the Pro's profile will be deactivated and all confirmed Gigs and Gig applications will be cancelled.
If a Pro does not have access to the cell number associated with their profile, they will be required to create a new profile with their current, connect cell number as Gigpro does not offer account recovery or account merging.
