Gigpro uses Stripe's IDV software. Stripe is Gigpro's third-party payment processor; they are the largest online payment processor in the world. All Pros using the Gigpro platform are required to provide both a valid ID (meaning in hand, undamaged, and unexpired) as well as SSN or ITIN for tax purposes before they can apply to Gigs. If a Pro cannot provide this documentation, the Pro cannot complete their profile and apply to Gigs.
