Gigpro may "Boost" or add extra money to a gig in certain instances:

• If a Pro cancels a confirmed Gig within 24 hours of start time, the Gig will be available to all other selected Pros and the Gig board again

• If a Gig is posted "last minute", meaning the start time of the gig is very near the post post time (less than 24 hours)

• The Gig may have a “Boosted” badge on it with a value

• That value is the amount of money we (Gigpro) are adding to the total value of the Gig to entice Pros to fill it

Boosts are displayed as an hourly rate and as a total value, but that does not mean the pro gets both. For example, a 5 hour gig for $15/hr may get a $15 boost. This will be displayed as a $15 boost and a change in the hourly rate to $18/hr. The pro is not getting both a $15 bonus and $18/hr, the pro is getting $15, which divided over 5 hours equals $3/hr being added to the gig.
