Businesses can select applicants at any time before the shift starts. 

• Pros will receive a notification in the app only when they have been selected for a Gig
• Pros who are selected for Gigs should review the Gig information before confirming the Gig
• Pros should apply to all the Gigs they want to work
• Once a Pro is Confirmed on a Gig, they cannot confirm another Gig during the same shift time.

Businesses have the freedom to select which Pros they prefer for their Gigs, just like Pros have the freedom to choose which Gigs they want to apply to and confirm. If your application is removed from your app, that means another pro was selected and has confirmed the Gig.

Contacting a business to request being selected for a Gig is not recommended, as our business partners have advised that this has the opposite effect, and Pros that call directly are rarely chosen.
