There are several reasons why you may not be able to use the Instant Pay Feature at this time, see below:
- Debit Card is not supported for Instant Payment. Stripe does not support pre-paid debit cards for Instant Payment. You can see which bank debit cards are supported here Instant Pay Supported Debit Cards
- Pro Payment Method is Checking Account
- Click Here to Change Pro Payment Method to a Debit Card
- Pro just changed Pro Payment Method to a debit card or changed debit cards
- Stripe does not allow use of the Instant Pay feature for the first 48 hours after a payment card is changed. After the 48 hours are over, you can use the Instant Pay feature
- Pro’s payment is listed as “On its Way” in the app
- Only money "Available Now" can be Instant paid, if the payment is “On its Way” Instant Pay is not available, click here for more information
- Gigs paid between 9pm and midnight EST may be unavailable for Instant Pay as they may be included in Stripe's Automatic Transfer Protocol
- Gig is not paid by the business yet
- The business must pay for the Gig before you can use the Instant Pay feature. The app will notify you when you have been paid. Businesses have up to 48 hours to pay Gigs.
- Pro needs to update Stripe info
- Pro has not added SSN and updated ID docs for verification
- Pro's Payout method is Lost or Stolen

- Pro has less than $20 in Stripe account
- The minimum amount a Pro can Instant Pay is $20
